Qa’a - Chi’en 2010

These nutters from Barcelona have made one of the first truly compelling albums to grace us this year. Although Chi’en takes cues from such legends as Sunburned Hand of The Man, CAN and Tangerine Dream when Edgar Froese thought he was Hendrix, Qa’a (pronounced “Ka”) manage to assemble it all in one very groovy, eclectic package that bears listening to. Shit gets real very fast on this record despite it being a 79-minute slab. Do not pass this up.
It can be grabbed FO FREE at the label Magia Roja’s site.
